Secondary Lead: Refined Lead Prices Vary by Region, Downstream Just-in-Time Procurement Transactions Are Moderate [SMM Lead Midday Review]

SMM March 4 News: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price remained unchanged from yesterday at 16,975 yuan/mt. During the morning session, mainstream ex-factory quotations for secondary refined lead were mainly at discounts of 50-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead price. In South China, ex-factory quotations were at discounts of 50-30 yuan/mt, while in Anhui, they were at discounts of 75-50 yuan/mt. In Zhejiang and Jiangsu, quotations were on parity, and in Jiangxi, they were also on parity (with individual producers quoting premiums of 25 yuan/mt). Today's ex-factory quotations for tax-free refined lead were in the range of 15,900-16,050 yuan/mt.
